Join the Deafblind UK - Peterborough Half Marathon Team!
We are now recruiting for the 2008 Great Eastern Run
In 2006, after 10 years, the Great Eastern Run returned to the racing calendar. In 2007, it was acclaimed as an awarding winning, gold status race and in 2008, with your support, we are sure it will be even bigger and better!
The course starts at Peterborough’s Cathedral Square runs through the flat streets of the City and the surrounding area. It is a smooth, but challenging course, testing a runner’s stamina and endurance throughout the 13.1 miles. If you are looking for a new running challenge in 2008, and could raise some sponsrship for Deafblind UK, this is the perfect opportunity. This year Deafblind UK celebrates our 80th birthday and this local event is the perfect way to celebrate, so join us today! 
To register for the Great Eastern Run
You need to be 17 or over on the day of the event and be able to complete the course in 4 hours.To register for the race, including a registration fee of £19.50, simply download the entry form, or complete it online at:

13.1 miles too far? Why not run the The Great Eastern 5km Fun Run? This event occurs on the same day and allows younger participants and adults to enjoy a specially devised section of the course.
