Our promise for the future
We are always developing new ideas for future educational programmes. Our existing programmes have been developed with the assistance of local primary, secondary and independent schools. We will continue this work, ensuring all our educational programmes are enjoyable for students as well as being useful to teachers.
Open days for Teachers
We are currently planning a number of open days for teachers so that they can visit the National Centre and sample the educational programmes for themselves. Dates to be announced.
Special events
In conjunction with these open days we will be hosting a series of special events throughout the year. Details to be announced shortly.
Distance learning
We are in the initial stages of developing a distance learning package for schools who are unable to visit the National Centre. This could also be used as pre and post visit study. We are seeking separate funding for this piece of work.
Youth Groups
We are putting together a special package of programmes for youth groups.
Partnership working
We are currently developing links with like-minded organisations in order to host special educational events and provide partnership links that will benefit future visitors to the National Centre .
