Deafblind UK has launched two social enterprises to deliver a new level of personalised support services

About Me (Care & Support Limited) provides a unique range of services geared towards enabling those with sensory impairments to live in the community, providing the individual with choices about how they want to live. Personalised planning assessments and specially trained communicators empower the individual to make informed choices about which services best suit their needs. About Me also provides dedicated training for social care professionals.

About Me Brokerage, is partly funded by the Department of Health and empowers individuals by providing expert advice and support to help people gain control over the delivery of their care plans. About Me Brokerage offers services to individuals who need to employ someone such as a full human resources service including recruitment, CRB checks, conducting interviews and supervising staff.

Deafblind Cymru

Deafblind Cymru is inviting you to the lauch of their new In Touch Befriending Project. The launch is on the 26th April 2012 at 11am at the Wales Millennium Centre. The event is for member's and professionals who are interested and connected within the wider deafblind community.
